Wee ones and their families get to join in the fun celebrating the turn of the seasons with their own special Family Beltane. All ages welcome.
Saturday 27th April 11am-2pm.
Scottish Storytelling Centre, 43-45 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1SR. Please read this document for information on travelling to the venue.
Ahead of Edinburgh’s summery fire festival, Beltane Fire Festival 2019, a vibrant troupe of storytellers, singers, and game masters are organising a day of play that brings the magic of Beltane alive for families.
We’ll mark Summer’s return with a cosy day of stories, music, crafts, face painting, and DRUMS. A host of otherworldly characters will lead the activities and embody the sunny spirit of Beltane.
This is a great day for nature-loving and creative families looking for a unique day out celebrating an alternative May Day.
And if your kids are a bit small for the main festival, this is a perfect opportunity to experience the Celtic traditions that Beltane Fire Society keeps alive in a smaller and easier way.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are £5 and can be bought from the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
