A new BFS Role to help the community and the trustees.

What Are Community Organisers?
Community Organisers, or COs, are a supplementary role on the board for those with a particular BFS project, or those who wish to assist the board out, but not necessarily commit to becoming a full board member. The role came about after the 2024 BFS open meeting, where many members decided they wanted to help out the newly elected board of trustees.
Giving Back: Voices from our new Community Organisers!
I had wanted to give something back for a long time, and being a community organiser is a great opportunity for me to contribute whatever I can, in a form that allows what time and energy I can commit to. – Giulia
I came on as a Community Organiser to help the 2024-25 board of trustees maintain momentum with the safeguarding & resolutions cases that were still open. My aim is to make life easier by being a member of the safeguarding team, being an extra pair of hands for moving complaints forwards. – C’tri
Having been introduced to the society in such a positive and inclusive way, I wanted to give something back, while gaining invaluable experience for the future. – Alex TW
