We’re Still Searching for our Bower and Some Tech Support!

We are still looking for the guardians of our Bower!

A shelter, a home on the hill, a feast-hall, a performance space, a dance-hall, a community hub,  an endpoint.   All of our journeys on the hill lead to Bower and we’d love to make sure that when folk get there, there is someone to welcome them.

The who, what and why of Bower can be as simple or complex as you make it. From goblins to ghosts of the past, dancing to heralding, tea and biscuits to feasting-tables – all have graced Bowers of the past.  There are some logistical aspects involved but if you’re not sure about these, there’s folk who can give guidance.

If you feel called to kindling the hearthfires of Bower please check out the information here and throw us an application by (preferably)  Monday 10th February. If you think you want to, but might require more time or support, email us at festival@beltane.org or blues@beltane.org and let us know.

Tech

We’re also looking for further support for Tech! We have the beginnings of a spark occurring but Tech is a Team Effort, with a capital T and E. If you’d be up for Co-GOing Tech or, alternatively, have some strong organisational, communication, and logistics skills that you could apply to helping things get off the ground (literally, in some cases) and are willing to learn about the Tech side of things please email us at festival@beltane.org or blues@beltane.org and we’ll get folk ’round a table to make sure our whole festival makes it off the drawing board!

We’d also love to have someone(s) on board who’re up for a bit of van driving for Tech. This could be the same person as above or different – again, email the above addresses to help us get Tech on the road (and on the hill… then off the hill again!).
