As Beltane approaches and the wheel of the year turns once more, we invite you to gather on Calton Hill, where the fires will soon be lit. In collaboration with Calton Café, this specially curated dining experience draws on the spirit of the season: an evening shaped by warmth, connection, and shared celebration.

Sneak up the hill and beat the crowds for a seasonal share plates feast (minimum 2 people) and soak in sunset views over Edinburgh before heading out to join the Beltane festivities on Thursday April 30th. This exclusive dining experience is available only to guests who already hold a ticket to the Beltane Festival.

Two arrival times are available: 5:30–6:00pm and 7:30–8:00pm.

Make sure to allow enough time to reach the café in time for your booking. Access to the cafe is via the steps on Waterloo Place. If you have accessibility requirements, please specify when making your booking, along with any dietary requirements. For bookings of more than 6, please email reservations@cafecalton.com

This exclusive dining experience is available only to guests who already hold a ticket to the Beltane Festival. If you don’t have a Beltane ticket, your booking will be automatically cancelled, and you may be charged a cancellation fee.
