28th April, 10am till 3pm on Calton Hill

In the morning from 10am till noon there will be a series of workshops and activities which folk can drop in and out of. These will include:-

Story Telling in the bell tent
Face Painting and head dress making
Lantern Making in the marquee
Music and singing with Jackie Macdonald from PPC for the under 2’s
Belly Dancing workshop with Bobby
African drumming and dancing lead by Stuart and Daisy Dinwoodie
Character and movement games lead by Cate Summerfield

Bring a picnic

The procession will start at 1pm all are invited to be part of this there will be games/rituals at each element as we process round Calton hill.

We invite you to come dressed up.

The event is free but all donations will be greatly appreciated for the Beltane Fire Society. If you like, you can register your attendance on Facebook here.

We are also running a 2 part Workshop on the 14th April and 21st April during which you can make a willow puppet. This will be running at St Margarets house http://www.artscomplex.org from 2pm till 3:30pm. As there are limited places could you please post on this page if you would like to reserve a place.
