Volunteer as a Steward at Samhuinn 2017

Those of you still looking for a way to get involved in Samuinn 2017 are in luck! Our Stewards are looking for more intrepid volunteers to join their team and help oversee the action at our next fire festival.

Our Stewards have a unique view of the action at our event. They look after our performers and provide a friendly face for our witnesses. They will liaise with Police, Security, First Aid, Production, Blues, and other Group Organisers to keep Samhuinn safe, assist with First Aid, and help guide the procession down the Royal Mile.

This is a great chance to get a taste of being involved with Beltane Fire Society, meet new people, and brush up on your crowd safety skills. You don’t need to have stewarding experience to take part – we’ll tell you everything you need to know at our training sessions.

Our next meeting is on Sunday 8th October in St Margaret’s House at 1pm. Come along to meet the rest of the group and go over the basics of stewarding.

To let us know that you’re interested, send us an email at stewards@beltane.org.
