BFS 2015 Annual General Meeting

Beltane 2015 by Martin McCarthy

Beltane Fire Society AGM

2pm on Sunday 14th June 2015

Calton Centre, 121 Montgomery Street, Edinburgh, EH7 5EP

Even though the Beltane Fire Festival is over, the work of the Society’s Board of Trustees continues throughout the year. If you have any items you would like to be raised for discussion or voting at the AGM, please let us know.

Any items to be raised for a membership vote should be submitted to festival[at]beltane[dot]org no later than 21 days before the AGM, in order to be circulated to the membership for consideration and discussion.

The main item on the agenda is the election/re-election of the Board of Trustees. All year round, the BFS Board keep the Society running with various jobs and projects. This is your chance to be a part of that.

If you would like to register your interest in putting yourself forward for election at the AGM, please complete and return the Board Application Form 2015 (for email distribution to the membership) no later than one week before the AGM.

If you are a member of our Society and would like to vote but will not be able to attend the AGM, you can choose a proxy (someone to vote on your behalf). In order for this to happen, please email chair[at]beltane[dot]org with your name and your proxy’s name before 1pm on Friday 12th June. Your voting slip will then be handed to them on their arrival. Your proxy can only vote on behalf of one person so please do not ask someone who has already agreed to proxy for someone else. Your proxy cannot be running for election to the Board.

Please also see our BFS Articles of Association and Responsibilities for BFS Board of Directors.

You are welcome to register your attendance on our Facebook event page.
