If you were up Calton Hill or Arthur’s seat, or wandering around various other parts of Edinburgh on Samhuinn afternoon, you might have run into this lot. The Faerie Porters job was to transport the court’s furniture from the site of the Bower at Beltane, through the psychogeographic landscape of our beautiful city, to the Samhuinn stage in the Grassmarket. On their travels, they met the Summer King, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, part of the Aerie and some free-range Photopointers!
