At Beltane, the Bower is our community’s hearth and home on the Hill, the welcome at the end of a long journey.  It is refuge, and safety, and nourishment.

For Samhuinn, it is…not exactly like that.

The Bower at Samhuinn has gotten somewhat dark.  As winter approaches, food will become scarce, and the court’s cooks might need get creative about their ingredients.

Whatever happens, no kitchen is complete without an oven.  Last week some of us Dark Bowerlings got together to begin building ours.
