With just two days to go until Beltane 2017, we wanted to share some stunning shots taken of the Beltane Showcase (held last weekend in Edinburgh’s City Centre) and the final walk-through rehearsal. The photos show just what a beautiful bunch of strange and wonderful Beltaners we have this year. Everyone has put in so much hard work in creating a 30th anniversary festival that is both a fitting tribute to our recent history but also pays respect to the ancient Celtic traditions that it evolved out of.

This Sunday, around 300 volunteer performers, dancers, torchbearers, drummers, stewards, tech-crew, photographers are coming together to create something truly special; a festival like no other that has to be experienced to be believed. The 30th Beltane Fire Festival is nearly upon us. And we can’t wait!
