We have had several fabulous production and performance group applications. We got more of them, in fact, than after last year’s deadline.

There are still some production groups we do not have: Torchies, Bower, and Photo Point. We also do not have Reds or Whites (not that we necessarily need to).

We’ve seen and heard discussion of ‘closed’ groups lately at our recent Blether, digitally, and in other conversations.

Whilst we prefer groups that are open to new volunteers, we’re now open to considering applications (especially from production groups like Photopoint, Torchies, and Bower) from people wanting to fill the gaps in our festival.

From the Blether, it’s clear you and we alike believe that one of the greatest things our festivals do is connect different people together, and people who don’t yet know each other.
